BACKEND DEVELOPER

Senquire Analytics is looking for a Software Developer skilled in Python and API development to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust software solutions, building APIs, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. The role includes collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration, staying updated with industry trends, and delivering quality code.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python.

  • Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI.

  • Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices.

  • Use Bash scripting for automation tasks.

  • Work with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

  • Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering for CI/CD pipeline integration.

  • Engage in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Who You are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in software development, primarily with Python.

  • Experience with FastAPI, Bash scripting, and relational & NoSQL databases.

  • Understanding of unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and version control systems (Git).

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and microservices architecture.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.

  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React), networking, and security principles is preferred.
